Over 400 people were present, last Saturday, at the annual brunch and convention of Laurier-Dorion M.N.A. and Chairman of the Committee on Health and Social Services, Mr. Gerry Sklavounos held in the presence of Liberal Party leader and Premier of Québec, Mr. Jean Charest.
Several elected officials and dignitaries were also present, namely Mr. Gilles Deguire, Mayor of the Montréal-Nord borough, Mrs. Mary Deros, City Councillor for Park-Extension, the Honourable Eleni Bakopanos and the Consul General of Greece, Mr. Thanos Kafopoulos.
“Laurier-Dorion is red. Laurier-Dorion is Liberal!” exclaimed the M.N.A. while thanking the Premier for his much appreciated presence and also welcomed and thanked his citizens and Liberal partisans for their continued friendship, unwavering support and for having renewed their trust in him as candidate for the next elections. “Over the last four years, I have been attentive to the needs of my citizens and have represented them with honour at the National Assembly. I am extremely proud of the great projects that we’ve accomplished in Laurier-Dorion thanks to the excellent collaboration between my team and our different partners in the riding”, added Mr. Sklavounos.
